The chart below is the call profile section of one of our Business Mobile Tariff Analysis Reports, this is a real report from a company that are now one of our customers, the information on the chart was taken from one of their monthly invoices which was 34 pages long and as you can see all the information can simply be displayed on one straightforward spread sheet.

By analysing their mobile invoices in this way we were able to substantiate and implement savings of £2857 per annum straight off their monthly invoice and further savings were achieved by reducing unnecessary calls and out of hours use.

The tariff analysis report easily identifies billing errors and details these as a cost in addition to the area which has been mis-Tariff Analysis billed, the report can then be emailed to your provider to rectify their mistake and credit your account.

The report breaks down each user so that it is easy to identify your high users and inactive devices.

If your handsets are mainly used in one geographical area the report can often indicate which network is the most popular in your area which in turn often suggests that the coverage maybe more favourable.

High Voicemail retrieval can sometimes be an indication that one or several of your users have issues with their handsets or can highlight training areas.

How much does the Business Mobile Tariff Analysis cost?

We offer the service completely FREE OF CHARGE regardless of whether you do business with us or not but obviously we hope that you find the service useful and as a result allow us to tender for your account when it comes up for renewal.

Does anyone else offer this service?

Yes the organisation that process the reports for us are called Tariffcom and they also work for individual companies in addition to telecoms resellers like ourselves.  They will charge between £1.50 and £3 for every mobile number on your account and for every month analysed with a minimum charge of £50 so if you required a bill analysis report for a fleet of 30 mobiles for 3 months billing this would cost you in the region of £135 to £270 – the lower charge is if you are able to supply electronic copies of your invoices and the higher charge is for paper copies. Paper copies are more expensive is simply due to sorting and scanning the bills which is far more labour intensive. Either way, if you let GSM Associates Limited handle this for you, the cost to your company will be nil.

Q&A

We would recommend that you send us the original copy that was sent to you by the network and take a copy of the first page as often photocopies are not of sufficient quality to be scanned to gain all the relevant call itemisation.
We do need all the itemisation otherwise it is impossible to produce the report.
Yes we guarantee the safe return of all paperwork provided.
Your information will not be passed to any other 3rd party other than Tariffcom for the purposes of producing the business mobile tariff analysis report and we are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement to that effect, if you require an NDA please advise and we will prepare and send this to you accordingly.
